Hey friend, welcome aboard! 👋😃
I want you to experience the full power of ChatGPT PasteBuddy, so urge to use the following shortcuts right away.
Note: Clipboard access is required for shortcuts to work. PasteBuddy uses it only to enhance your experience. Nothing is ever stored or shared. The first time you use a shortcut, you'll see the message below. Simply allow it to continue.
1️⃣ Power shortcut #1: Ctrl/Command + Button Click
When you hold the Control (or Command) key on your keyboard, then click on one of the PasteBuddy prompt buttons, PasteBuddy takes the content of your clipboard (whatever you copied last), and automatically submits the prompt for you in the following format:
[Prompt text] + [Your clipboard content]
For example, if you need an email draft improved…
Just copy the email, then click the “Improve Email” button, and PasteBuddy will submit it for you in the correct format.
This shortcut is pure GOLD.
Don’t underestimate how much it can streamline your workflow once you get into the habit of using it.
2️⃣ Power shortcut #2: Shift + Button Click
Continuing from the example above, if the content of the email draft is already typed into the ChatGPT text area, you can simply press Shift on your keyboard then click the “Improve Email” button in PasteBuddy.
This action will submit your prompt in the following format:
[Prompt text] + [Text inside the ChatGPT text area]
I don’t use this shortcut as much, but I do find myself using it from time to time.
Nonetheless, it’s good to know you have this option.
3️⃣ Other Useful Features:
Move It: Not happy with where the PasteBuddy window landed? Grab the small white bar at the top and drag it wherever you please.
Minimize It: Want a cleaner screen? Double-click that same white bar to minimize the window. Trust me, this one's a handy!
💪The Real Power of PasteBuddy
The real power of ChatGPT PasteBuddy is in the shortcuts and in its ability to let you customize the prompts using the “Settings” tab.
Things change fast in the online world, and if a prompt is not giving you the results you expected; just refine the prompt and save it.
You can view the included prompts as “Placeholders” so they can get you started.
In other words, I urge you to improve (or delete) the prompts that are not performing well.
